Heritage Christian School is an administrative and educational ministry specializing in independent study for home educating families. Heritage provides support and accountability through our parent meetings, class day settings and experienced mentors. HCS exists to serve beginning and experienced private Christian home educators who desire family centered training with emphasis on both academic excellence and godly character development. The distinctive features of HCS include: record keeping, parent teacher meetings, monthly newsletter, field trips, cooperative instructional class days, lab classes and transcripts for high school students as well as a wide variety of support services based on the participation of our committed parent volunteers. HCS supports traditional or year round schedules, and traditional or unit study curricular methods. Celebrating over 40 years, Heritage Oak is a Blue Ribbon School which provides a challenging core curriculum that includes French, Spanish, art, vocal/instrumental music, enhanced writing, technology and character education. The academically-challenging preschool and full-day kindergarten prepare for an accelerated curriculum. Middle school students utilize laptop computers in most subjects. Students also enjoy sports leagues and full summer camp with an on-campus pool.

The school offers a balanced, comprehensive education that weaves together academic achievement with hands-on experience in an artistic environment. Each year's curriculum is designed to engage the children as they move through the three school-age developmental phases: in kindergarten, through imitation and guided creative play; in grade school, through the imaginative and artistic presentations of the class teacher; and in high school, through subject teachers who challenge the students' awakening capacity for independent thinking.

Holy Martyrs Armenian Elementary and Ferrahian High School was founded in Encino, California in 1964. Holy Spirit Parish School, established in 1947 as an educational ministry of Holy Spirit Parish, was administered by the Sisters of Mercy until 1999. Horizon Christian Academy is a non-denominational, Biblically based school that teaches academic excellence while developing in students a Christian perspective of the world and encouraging a lifetime of service to Jesus Christ. HCA offers curriculum programs preparing its students for a number of post secondary options. Graduates can gain acceptance into the college or university of their choice through successful completion of honors and Advanced Placement coursework. Preparation for entrance into community colleges can be accomplished by completing high school graduation requirements. Students can also go directly into armed services or the general workforce with skills acquired at HCA and/or programs like Regional Occupational Program during the junior and senior years.
