Garces Memorial is an academically challenging, college preparatory, co-educational Catholic high school, founded in 1947 by the Christian Brothers and Dominican Sisters of St. Thomas Aquinas. Gavilan Hills Academy in Gilroy has a strong academic orientation. It is our belief that children learn best when challenged. Accordingly, students are grouped in classes (referred to as Forms) by ability rather than chronological age. Class sizes are limited so that each student's progress can be closely monitored. Student's grouping sometimes changes with each academic subject so students can receive accelerated, average, or remedial instruction. While it is not necessarily unusual for some students to vary as much as two traditional grade levels between their academic/age level, they are regrouped for social and physical activities during the school day.

The GISSV is a private school offering a bilingual German-English educational program with classes from Preschool through 12th Grade. Welcome to Guardian Angel School provide strong religious education and formation, a school that would provide an atmosphere where students can practice their faith, and thus grow into faithful members of the Church. In order to achieve that objective, our students have the opportunity to live the sacraments, to learn about their faith and the reasons behind their beliefs. Guardian Angel seeks to provide our students with a strong intellectual formation. For that reason, we are adapting a classical methodology of teaching where the instruction adapts to the way students learn: the Grammatical, Logical and Rhetorical stages. In the Grammatical stage, students who are in the earlier stages of their intellectual development have a greater facility to memorize and to imitate, and therefore we put a special emphasis on memorizing fine examples of poetry, catechism questions, the reading of excellent examples of literature for them to imitate.

Halstrom High School offers a unique, individualized, one-to-one, instruction program for college-bound, and/or career oriented students, or students needing to take break from the traditional high school system. We offer flexible scheduling to accomodate various scheduling needs, in a safe and caring environment. We have UC/CSU-approved "a-g" courses and NCAA-approved courses. WASC-accredited.

Haynes Education Center is a special education facility that offers a highly individualized program. The school accommodates elementary and secondary level students not able to attend regular or special education classes in local school districts. Our program serves both students from our residential program as well as those from the local community. We provide both clinical services during the day and an after school day treatment program to address each students individual needs. Haynes Education Center currently serves children Kindergarten to 12th graders. The younger students and the older students that need special attention are in self contained classrooms where they spend their day with the same teacher and aide. The Middle and High School students rotate classes between several teachers, making their school experience more like what they will face when they transition to the public school.
