The Cooke Center for Learning and Development is the largest private provider of school-based special education services in New York City. We embrace and promote inclusion, an educational practice through which children with learning challenges are educated in general education settings alongside their mainstream peers. The Cooke Center's mission is to collaborate with others to provide opportunities for students with special needs, ages 3 to 21, to learn side by side with non-disabled peers and members of the community.
