A Catholic school is a community where all are working together in a Christian endeavor wherein students are enriched with secular and religious knowledge. The climate should reflect this endeavor. "From the first moment that a student sets foot in a Catholic school, he or she ought to have the impression of entering a new environment, one illumined by faith and having its own unique characteristics. The Gospel spirit should be evident in a Christian way of thought and life which permeates all facets of the educational climate." The responsibility for creating and nurturing this atmosphere belongs to the entire school community; the administration, teachers, support staff, parents, and students.
