The Lyceum Academy was established in 1999. It began with a group of teachers committed to educating children in the academic, physical, emotional, and social skills needed to become an integral part of their own future endeavors. We stress solid preparation in skills of reading, writing, and mathematics. Our goal is to provide an extensive and well-rounded learning environment in which children are encouraged to question and learn about the world around them. Our program is designed to encourage independence and responsibilty in all of our students. The Lyceum Academy educates children in the physical, emotional, and social skills needed to become an integral part of their own future academic endeavors. We stress solid preparation in skills of reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, and science. Each student receives personalized instruction from teachers dedicated to the well-rounded development of our children. The educational philosophy of the Lyceum Academy represents a partnership among its students, parents, administration and staff. These partners are united in their commitment to common objectives.
