Holy Name of Jesus School is a coeducational, parochial elementary school ideally located in the suburban community of Valhalla, New York. It's proximity to the major parkways and corporate setting allows for easy access. A diversified curriculum is offered from full-day Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade. Early childhood basic care and elementary subjects include a foreign language (Spanish), as well as a departmental curriculum for the upper grades. Before and after school programs are rich and highly utilized. Hope Hall is a private, non-denominational, not-for-profit school designed for students with special learning needs who consistently experience frustration in the traditional classroom setting. Hudson View's academic scores put them in the top 20% of all schools nationally and in the top third of Christian Schools academically. Busy Bee Learning Center was established in 1968 by Pastor O.E. Gordon, then Pastor of the Jamaica SDA Church, Jamaica, New York. For more than thirty years, the Center has provided students, ages 2 1/2 to 6 years, with a Christian education in a loving, stimulating and secure environment. Licensed by the New York City Department of Health, the school offers instruction in academic subjects, as well as Music, Art, Spanish and Computer.

The Jewish Institute of Queens provides an active, versatile, and challenging learning environment in which students are primed for life in a changing world. John A. Coleman Catholic High School is an independent, Catholic, coeducational, college preparatory school dedicated to educating a diverse student population of all faiths.

John S. Burke Catholic High School opened in December 1964. In the years that followed, Burke Catholic students, grades 8-12, were involved in a wide range of extra-curricular activities. The Burke Broncos Spring Track team, Hawkeyes Basketball team, Wrestling, Ski and Swim teams Freshman, JV and Varsity Cheerleading squads and many intramural sports, were among the athletic pursuits of BCHS students. Beginning in 1968 the school mascot for all sports was officially changed to the Eagle. Photography, art, film, debate, science, foreign language and math clubs also garnered student interest. "Not Words, but Deeds," the school motto, reflects the character of BCHS students throughout it's hundred-year history. Concern for others and the pursuit of excellence remain hallmarks of this school. The success of the student's is evident in the fact that 99% of BCHS graduates attend college.

Karafin School has a limited number of students but the student body is not limited in intelligence. Several are gifted and all have accomplished a great deal. The students today are quieter, more academically oriented, than the original under-achievers. They don't act out as much and we get students from all over, not just locally. We are a school of proven success.

Keio Academy of New York was established in 1990 by the Keio Gijuku (Keio Private School System) of Japan (which also operates Keio University, one of the most prestigious private schools in Japan) primarily to meet the needs of Japanese living overseas. This school is making every effort to be a precursor in educating future leaders for the international scene as society heads into the 21st century. Keio Academy will educates its students through a unique bilingual and bicultural educational curriculum.

The Kellenberg Memorial High School course of studies has been drawn up in conformity with the school's consistent policy of promoting the greatest intellectual competence together with the highest moral character. The scope of the curriculum provides for a liberal education which meets the most stringent of college entrance requirements. Kellenberg Memorial High School is registered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York, accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and a full member of the New York State Association of Independent Schools.

The Ketchum-Grande Memorial School, the on-campus school of The Charlton School, is approved by the New York State Education Department to provide special education to classified students placed in residence by their counties or by the Committees on Special Education of their school districts. The educational program at includes a day program option, for some students, as they transition home from residential placement. Students, from grades eight to eleven attend small classes and instruction is individualized with intensive academic and counseling support to help each student achieve school success. The school follows State recommended curriculums and prepares students to meet graduation requirements, including passing Regents examinations. The curriculum also includes areas such as family and consumer science subjects, fine arts, music and video technology combined with a practicum, Health and allied subjects, computer instruction, physical education and an across the curriculum emphasis on writing. Students reaching certain levels of academic and social attainment may attend classes at the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School with which the Ketchum-Grande program has a close working relationship.

The Kinneret Day School of Riverdale has as its mission a commitment to academic excellence, to the teaching of Jewish/American morals and ethics, and to the recognition and acceptance of the plurality of our school population.
