School Overview

Beth El Congregation of Baltimore is a progressive synagogue affiliated with the United Synagogue that fulfills the spiritual, educational and social needs of its members by nurturing religious practices and traditions, Jewish values and Tikkun Olam. The Berman-Lipavsky Religious School strives to provide our students, young and old, with a strong Judaic background while instilling a pride in being Jewish and a sense of belonging to the Jewish people. Through our extensive offering of family programs, Shabbat family services and dinners, adult education classes, and tikun olam (repairing the world) opportunities and trips, parents and students study together to make our school a center of Jewish family learning.
