Yeshiva Elementary School was founded in 1987 by local rabbis and teachers who sensed a growing demand for a high quality, nurturing, Torah based day school education in South Florida. From what originally had been a school of five children housed in a single classroom, Y.E.S has grown into a home for over 350 students. By 1999 the school had clearly outgrown its original location on Alton Road, and moved to its current 50,000 square feet facility at 7902 Carlyle Avenue in Miami Beach.
