Woodland Academy is a small private school located near Montross, Virginia. It houses grades pre-K through 8th. Woodland Academy offers an affordable pre-kindergarten through eighth grade educational program to a diverse student body in a traditional, non-denominational setting. The curriculum allows for individual academic growth while preparing students to continue their education in private or public high schools throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Class sizes are small and offer individual, differentiated plans and assistance to students with varying degrees of abilities. The staff is caring and dedicated and the environment is warm and nurturing. Students are offered a strong curriculum with the addition of Spanish and Life Skills as electives. Outside resources are utilized to enhance the curriculum and field trips are planned and taken to supplement classroom instruction. Woodland students are given the opportunity to participate on our Soccer and Basketball teams.
