Overview

Founded in 2011, the Verbier International School (VIS) offers an intensive and engaging academic curriculum further enriched with extra-curricular activities from the age of 2 to 18 in the heart of the Swiss Alps. VIS has grown progressively without losing its family ethos and focus on outdoor education, and is distinct in that it offers year-round education but also welcomes students exclusively for the Winter term.

We welcome students from age 12 to share an experience of a lifetime in the Alps by becoming a boarder, benefiting from one of the best places to live as well as an excellent education.

The ski programme includes race and freeride academies as well as tailored instruction to suit all ages and abilities. The school maintains a holistic ethos to enable autonomy and independence in a nurturing, supportive and family-focused environment.
