School Overview

Treetops Montessori School is a privately owned school serving the needs of children 2.9 years through kindergarten. Our goal is to provide a warm, non-competitive environment in which each child is accorded the respect and freedom necessary to realize and develop his or her unique personality and potential. All classes are made up of children of mixed ages and abilities with those older helping the younger ones and those more able helping the less able. A calm and supportive atmosphere helps to build confidence and encourages each child to become an independent, creative, self-disciplined, caring and academically capable member of society. Treetops Montessori School provides a prepared environment in which each child, set free from adult intervention, can live his life according to the laws of his development. Our goal is to develop the personality of the whole child and to encourage such concepts as creativity, self-discipline, initiative, independence, self-confidence, and a sense of personal and communal responsibility.
