Founded in 1867, The Storm King School is one of New York oldest and most prestigious boarding schools, located one hour north of New York City. The School enrolls about 200 students from the USA and 26 other countries. Faculty boasts an impressive list of teachers including a former NASA scientist Dr. Feffer (Stanford University), writer Dr. Finn-Atkins (Fordham University), award winning filmmaker Zhenya Kiperman (Columbia University), Rushdi Siddiqui, Esq., Courtney Sutter, JD, and Head of School Lisa Shambaugh (Harvard University). Over 70% of faculty hold advanced degrees. Our graduates attend top universities including Harvard, NYU, Cornell, Georgetown, Syracuse, RPI, Parsons, FIT, and Pratt. Academics include over 125 courses including Honors courses and 23 AP courses across every subject area.
