Nora is a small, progressive, independent, college preparatory day school for students in grades 9 through 12 who are bright but have found themselves frustrated in larger or more rigid institutions.The Nora School offers a college preparatory curriculum and small classes in a relaxed, nurturing environment. The Nora School aspires to uncover and strengthen the intelligence and talents of bright students who have been frustrated in school. Their frustration may stem from a variety of sources: learning disabilities, health problems, family circumstances, or simply dealing with large bureaucratic structures.
