The Kiski School is a small college-preparatory boarding school located just under an hour east of Pittsburgh. Our 350-acre rural campus provides a safe, inspiring environment where 200 students from 31 countries and 13 U.S. states live and learn together. With over 90% of students living on campus, Kiski fosters a close-knit, inclusive community where students build lifelong friendships and grow through collaboration.

Academically, Kiski offers 12 Advanced Placement (AP) courses and features the Harkness method of teaching—an engaging, student-centered approach where discussions around a round table help students develop critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills. Our 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio ensures personalized attention, and faculty serve as both teachers and mentors who support each student's academic and personal journey.

Outside the classroom, students choose from over 30 clubs and organizations in areas like the arts, science, service, and leadership. Athletics are also a central part of the Kiski experience, with 12 varsity teams that encourage discipline, teamwork, and school spirit. Our modern Innovation Lab and Inventionland curriculum give students hands-on opportunities in robotics, engineering, and design thinking—strengthening essential STEAM skills.

Kiski graduates are confident, well-rounded, and prepared to succeed. They go on to attend the most selective colleges and universities across the country, including Columbia, Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, and Carnegie Mellon. Every graduate receives admission to a U.S. college or university.

Kiski is more than a school—it’s a diverse, supportive community where students are encouraged to discover their passions, embrace challenges, and prepare for a meaningful future.
