Overview

St. Andrew School has been an educational presence in Pasadena since 1897, providing a student-centered curriculum which educates the whole child. Throughout the years, Sisters of the Holy Names and dedicated lay women and men have integrated Catholic values in all areas of the curriculum. St. Andrew School educates primarily Catholic children from parish families, which includes children of alumni of several generations. The school community believes that learning is most effective in an atmosphere of faith, love, respect and family-spirit. Faculty, priests, students and parents recognize and value diversity in persons, cultures, experiences, methods of learning and ways of doing things. This atmosphere fosters a love of learning which enables students to become adults who make ethical and moral decisions and contribute meaningfully to society.
