Overview

Notre Dame Elementary, an independent Catholic school, is committed to developing the whole child in the tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. NDE is a caring, compassionate community, striving to provide a quality Catholic education by imparting Christian values and promoting community service as well as an awareness of the needs of others. At NDE, we seek to help our students master skills needed to succeed and discover within themselves a love of learning and a love for the spiritual life. Our school is a Christian community in all that the term implies: Love of God, love of country, love and respect for one another as children of God and good citizens. Since each child is the sum of what (s)he has absorbed and been taught since infancy, combined with his or her own unique set of inborn characteristics, our "community" must include parents as well as children and teachers if we are to achieve the goal of providing the best possible learning environment for our students.
