Monte Vista Christian School is an International Baccalaureate, coeducational, boarding and day, college-preparatory school. As a Christian educational institution, MVC has a concern for all aspects of a student's life, character, and intellect. Founded in 1926, the campus occupies over 100 acres of rolling lawns, ponds, a sports complex, equestrian facilities, and more than 25 buildings. MVC is an IB World School and authorized for both Middle Years Program and Diploma program. Honors, dual credit, online courses, equestrian, athletics, and fine art programs are also offered. Students are challenged to think independently and to develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. A full course of ESL leading to graduation is offered.
