Metro West Jewish Day School

Metro West Jewish Day School (MWJDS) was founded in 2001 by a group of families seeking to create an excellent private school where intensive general and Judaic studies would be offered in a warm, pluralistic environment, reflecting the diversity of Metro West. MWJDS welcomes families from diverse backgrounds and Jewish traditions. We now educate children in grades K-5 and are adding a grade annually to reach grade 8. To create a community where all families and children can feel safe and comfortable, the school is kosher and nut-free, The MWJDS school calendar follows traditional Jewish and secular holiday observances and is aligned with the Framingham Public School calendar. MWJDS is committed to academic excellence in both general and Judaic studies. MWDS provides individual attention to every child and respects diverse Jewish traditions and learning styles. By providing the highest quality academic education, with the "added bonus" of Jewish values, MWJDS attracts a wide spectrum of families.
