SJB 학교는 뉴욕 롱아일랜드의 바다에 접해있어 캠퍼스 환경이 매우 좋습니다. 학교는 약 60년 정도의 역사를 가진 롱아일랜드에서 비교적 유명한 사립학교입니다. 학교에 국제 학생 비율이 높은 편이 아니기 때문에 중국 학생들이 입학순위에서 밀리는 상황은 발생하지 않습니다. 학교를 질서 있게 관리합니다.

저는 Saint John the Baptist High School에서 3년동안 재학했고 지금은 이미 졸업한 상태입니다. 이 학교의 장점은 아래와 같습니다.

① 학교는 뉴욕 롱아일랜드에 위치해 지리적 위치가 특히 좋은 편입니다. 뉴욕에서 차로 약 한 시간 거리입니다. 주말에는 친구들과 함께 번화한 뉴욕거리를 보며 새롭게 시야를 넓힐 수 있다.
② 수업의 질이 높고 학습 분위기가 잘 조성되어 있습니다. 또한 학교에는 다양한 커리큘럼과 책임감있는 교사진으로 구성되어 있습니다.
③ 학교는 종교 학교여서, 종교 활동을 자주 거행합니다. 종교와 관련해 많은 것을 배울 수 있고, 여러 나라에서 온 좋은 친구들을 사귈 수 있는 기회입니다.
④ 국제 학생은 홈스테이 가정에서 지낼 수 있습니다. 그곳에서 생활하면서 미국 현지인의 삶을 더 잘 경험할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 미국에 더 빨리 적응할 수 있고, 회화능력을 향상시킬 수 있습니다.

저는 이 학교를 너무 좋아합니다. 학교에서 많은 것을 배웠습니다. 학업능력을 향상시킬 수 있고 다양한 문화를 배우며 좋은 인간관계를 조성할 수 있습니다. 좋은 친구들을 많이 사귀었고 지금까지도 친하게 지내고 있습니다. 저는 이 학교에서 성장한 덕분에 원하는 대학에 합격할 수 있었습니다.
