Goodpasture Christian School is a source of truth, strength, and vision. We believe all knowledge and wisdom come from God; Christianity must influence everything we do at Goodpasture; time spent in Bible study and prayer is an important part of the school day; student learning includes the total development of all aspects of life: spiritual, academic, physical, and social; students should honor God, parents, country, teachers, and fellow students; students should be both responsible and accountable for their learning and actions; learning is a cumulative process; teachers should exhibit a genuine concern and respect for their students; teachers must maintain high expectations in order for maximum student learning to result; school should be a safe environment; the mind flourishes in an environment of acceptance and encouragement; home and school should work together to instill values, build self-confidence, and help each student realize success; and families and the community should be involved in the learning process.
