Zora Neale Hurston (January 7, 1891 – January 28, 1960) was an American author, anthropologist, and filmmaker. Her works, which portray racial struggles in the early-1900s American South--and particularly the struggles of African-American women--have become classics of American literature and have influenced such literary giants as Alice Walker and Toni Morrison.  Hurston’s most popular novel is Their Eyes Were Watching God (published in 1937).

Zora Hurston女士（1891-1960），美国作家，人类学家，电影制作人。她的作品大多反映1900年代美国南方的种族冲突，尤其是非裔美国妇女的抗争与苦难，对后来其他美国作家比如Alice Walker和Toni Morrison均有深刻的影响。Their Eyes Were Watching God是Hurston最著名的代表作品。
