Orion Academy provides a quality college-preparatory program for secondary students whose academic success is compromised by a neuro cognitive disability such as Asperger's syndrome, or NLD (Non-verbal Learning Disorder). Orion students are bright young people whose potential for success in the world is often unrealized as a result of their disorders. As a group, these students suffer profound difficulty with information processing and integration. This, coupled with significant social skill problems, often makes it impossible to function and succeed in existing high school programs. Without the necessary program modifications and social skill training, their future has been uncertain. Orion Academy offers these students an academic curriculum that is challenging and structured, rich in its academic offerings and uniquely tailored to the strengths and needs of our students.

The students of Our Lady of Grace School focused on the need for peace in our world. They made Pinwheels for Peace, each a visual statement about their feelings about peace/tolerance/cooperation/harmony/or unity. Many older classes worked with their younger buddy classes to assemble the pinwheels and write their thoughts. A group of parents then adorned different areas of the school with these colorful reminders of the possibilities of life without violence. These activities culminated with a beautiful Liturgy for Peace, celebrated by Father Omer, attended by the school body and parents, and led by the fifth grade. As they concluded the Mass, the students stationed themselves throughout the church and sang the "Peace Prayer". Peace is the blessing we pray is found by each of us and by all. The mission of Our Lady of Grace Catholic School is to prepare today's students to be tomorrow's leaders by integrating gospel and family values, discipline, and academic excellence into a safe, Christ-centered environment for children grades Kindergarten through Eighth Grade.

OLL is a very colorful and interesting history. From the beginning of the "Arroyo de los Reyes", the origination of Echo Park Lake, the birth of the movie industry, oil wells, the move of the Dodgers to our backyard, a haven for musicians, poets, artists and writers and even an off-season vacation haunt of the legendary Babe Ruth! We intend to create a complete history time line on this page. We are working with several sources including Local Historical Societies, Historians, The Presentation Sisters' archives, the school and parish as well as the Archdiocese of Los Angeles archives to gather all information available.

Our Lady of the Rosary School opened in September of 1952 to provide Catholic education for the children of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish. Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, located in Daly City, was founded in 1933 as a temporary four-classroom building. The grade levels were combined until 1942, when a second temporary building was added and all except the seventh and eighth grades were separated. At Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, we aspire to educate the whole child spiritually, intellectually, socially, psychologically and physically, in light of Christian principles and service. We are committed to providing our students with a quality education, which will prepare them for their roles in society. The present staff is comprised of one lay principal and nine full-time teachers, including one Sister of Mercy. The school has the services of two instructional aides serving in kindergarten through grade three, two computer teachers who also serve as resource teachers for grades four through eight, one music teacher, one physical education teacher (Rhythm and Moves), and one counselor. Support staff includes the following: administrative assistant, development director, librarian, cafeteria service coordinator, bookkeeper, and custodian.

Our Lady's School is the oldest Catholic elementary school in the Diocese of San Diego. It was founded in 1912 and is a merged school between the parishes of Our Lady of Angels and Our Lady of Guadalupe.
