School Overview

The Augusta Area School District, located in Eau Claire County in West Central Wisconsin, is a PreK-12 public school system. Our purpose is to provide our students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes which will help them become successful in an ever-changing society. As rural today as when it was consolidated in 1960, the District comprises 250 square miles, including the City of Augusta and all or part of seven surrounding townships. The Augusta School District, through its elected school board, has the responsibility of providing the best possible education to all of the children in the district while attempting to meet the needs and abilities of each student. We believe that the Augusta Schools, within our means and resources, will make every effort to help each student maximize his/her potential.
