Ascension Lutheran School and Preschool is maintained by the congregation of Ascension Lutheran Church to serve as a tool to assist parents in their God-given obligation to bring up their children in the "training and instruction of the Lord." It also serves as a misslon arm for the un-churched and those seeking instruction for their children in God's Word. Our school trains children in grades K-8 by providing both an elementary program for grades K-6 and a junior high program for grades 7-8. The faculty consists of teachers who are dedicated to serving the needs of the individual children. The basis of all education is a Christ-centered approach to all areas of our student's lives. Instruction in God's Word is provided, as well as a well-rounded curriculum in such subjects as science, mathematics, reading, English, social studies, spelling, handwriting, music, art, and physical education. All of these subjects are taught in light of the principals set forth in God's Word.
