Overview
Bolles students understand that pursuing excellence through courage, integrity and compassion is not only the School, motto but the foundation for a successful life. This is why attending Bolles is a remarkable experience. This is the place where interests become strengths and where students become successful young adults who know how to thrive in a global community.
The Bolles School is home to over 1,740 day and boarding students in grades Pre-K through 12. Founded in 1933, Bolles features four diverse and co-educational campuses: the Bolles Lower School Whitehurst and Ponte Vedra Beach Campuses, the Middle School Bartram Campus and the Upper School San Jose Campus.

The Resident Life program can accommodate more than 90 male and female students from around the globe. In 2023-24, boarding students represent 30 countries and 11 USA states. These students help create a unique and culturally robust educational environment for themselves and their peers. Bolles offers a comprehensive fine and performing arts program with courses in drama, dance, visual arts, chorus, music and band. 80 percent of Bolles middle and upper school students enrolled in fine and performing arts classes this year and 100 percent of lower school students are involved in art, music and theatre instruction.

Academically, Bolles offers courses in six languages (including Chinese, Japanese and Arabic) and 29 Advanced Placement courses. The School recently established a new academic partnership with Global Online Academy, an online course offering that complements Bolles’ existing curriculum in an international setting. Bolles also has educational partnerships with Mayo Clinic and Zimmer Biomet, as well as its own Anatomage virtual dissection table. Bolles students play by the School’s athletic motto, “Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.” Most students, 90 percent, participate in one or more sports at Bolles.
Students from the Class of 2022 offered or qualified for more than $14.5 million in merit-based scholarships for their four-year college careers. The 195 graduates are attending 98 different colleges, universities and military academies and were accepted to 250 different colleges.

At Bolles, students experience an All Things Possible approach to education that champions innovation, global awareness and service. With a foundation in courage, integrity and compassion students know how to be successful as they progress into college and life.
