Colorado Academy mission is to help families succeed with their home-based education program. We do this by offering a suite of tools designed to help parents tailor their student's education precisely to their needs. Among our offerings are curriculum planning & consulting, student evaluations, college counseling, record-keeping and comprehensive progress and activity reporting. The Colorado Academy of Independent Learners, a non-public, independent school, is located in Peyton, Colorado, about 20 miles northeast of Colorado Springs. We opened our doors in 2001. CAIL offers families the opportunity to be part of a private school, with many of the advantages a private school can offer while at the same time deriving all the benefits of a home-based education program. Colorado Academy is accredited through the National Association for the Legal Support of Alternative Schools.
