The Gateway School of New York is an ungraded elementary school dedicated to helping children with learning disabilities develop the academic skills, learning strategies, social competence and self-confidence necessary to succeed. Our students, ages 5-14, learn in a nurturing educational environment, which empowers them to overcome early developmental hurdles, and allows their talents to flourish. At Gateway, we seek to provide an optimal learning environment for children who have great potential but who struggle with the significant difference between their strong abilities and their confounding difficulties in some aspects of life and learning.
