The Lucy Daniels Center for Early Childhood is a non-profit program devoted to promoting the healthy emotional development of young children. We are a vibrant blend of a school, a children's mental health facility, and a training site for parents and professionals. Our national award winning services are preschool and kindergarten educational and treatment programs for families with children facing emotional or social challenges, an on-site mental health clinic for children up to the age of 11 and their parents, and in-home therapeutic services for children from low-income families in Wake County. The Lucy Daniels Preschool/Kindergarten serves children whose emotional development is proceeding typically in the Child Enrichment Program and children who are experiencing excessive challenges in their emotional development in the Early Intervention Program.
