Founded in 1893, George School is a prestigious, college-preparatory boarding and day school with a strong record of preparing students for admission to top universities in the United States and around the world. Our flexible academic program includes Advanced Placement (AP) courses and the globally recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program, delivered through an innovative, student-centered schedule. Approximately 30% of students pursue the full IB Diploma—with an annual pass rate averaging 95%—and all students can take a mix of IB, AP, and traditional courses tailored to their strengths and goals.
George School is a global community of 540 students representing more than 40 countries. Our commitment to international education goes beyond the classroom: each year, 8–10 academic courses include short-term study abroad programs to countries such as France, Greece, Bonaire, and South Africa. Best of all, these programs are offered at no additional cost for enrolled students, providing real-world, global experiences as part of the curriculum.
In addition to a rigorous and flexible academic program, George School offers a wide range of opportunities in the visual and performing arts, competitive academic teams, leadership development, and dozens of student clubs. Our 240-acre campus is located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania—a peaceful, safe, and welcoming suburban community. Grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and essential services are all within walking distance of campus. George School is just 45 minutes from downtown Philadelphia, under two hours from New York City, and 15 minutes from Princeton, New Jersey.
