Overview

Frankford Friends School, under the care of the Frankford Monthly meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, is the lineal descendant of the first school in Frankford, and has been in its present location since 1833. During all these years the school has continued to subscribe to the same fundamental goals set down by those first thoughtful educators: a form of education which would develop in their children an attitude of courageous independence, a readiness for responsibility, and a spiritual basis for life. Frankford Friends School is committed to the development of the whole child in an atmosphere which allows each child to develop a sense of self-worth. Through a challenging academic program we strive to develop a thorough understanding of basic concepts, clear and logical thinking, and the ability to communicate ideas.
