Optional interviews are a great way to demonstrate an interest in Rice, share with us your academic and personal successes, and learn more about the campus experience. We offer interviews both on- and off-campus. Students who complete their application by Dec. 15 and request an off-campus interview by Dec. 17 will receive priority consideration for interview matching. The Admission Committee views on- and off-campus interviews equally in the admission review process. The inability to have an interview will not negatively impact your application.
