Metropolitan Preparatory High School (“Metro Prep”) was established in 1986 in response to a need for a day school setting for high school students who had experienced limited success in traditional special education programs. Along with Metro Prep Grade School and Laureate Day School, it is owned and supported by Family Guidance Centers, Inc. Our modern school campus in Arlington Heights, IL serves over 160 students across three programs, providing a continuum of care for special education students at all grade levels and with a wide variety of disabilities.
