'Catch' Former NYG David Tyree at the March 10 Father-Son Breakfast

Guess who's coming...to breakfast? If you don't recognize the name, you'll certainly recall the iconic image. Quarterback Eli Manning not once, but twice, escaping a relentless Patriots pass rush to loft a miracle into the final two minutes of Super Bowl XLII in February 2008. New England defender Rodney Harrison came down with New York's David Tyree, and Tyree came down with the ball -- inexplicably trapped between his hands and his helmet -- and the momentum that would carry the Giants to Super Bowl glory and lore. On Sunday, March 10, you can "catch" Tyree at Iona Prep's annual Father-Son Breakfast.

Prep Players Audition for 'Footloose" Feb. 5-6

While all male roles will be filled by Iona Prep students, the troupe is putting out an open call for auditions for female roles for Feb. 5-6.

ROUND 2: Super Saturday Showdown vs. Stepinac Returns Feb. 10

Though still No. 6 in the LoHud Sports power rankings, the Iona Preparatory varsity basketball team will certainly be contemplating revenge against Stepinac when the two teams meet again on Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Iona University Hynes Athletics Center.
