Cardinal Newman is a Catholic, college preparatory high school for young men. Our mission is to educate our students in the wholeness of mind, body, and spirit through the teachings of Jesus Christ; applying their leadership skills and talents in service to others. We challenge each student to work to his highest potential in the lifelong pursuit of learning and excellence. The Cardinal Newman High School community has committed itself to the principles of Christian education and the pursuit of educational excellence. In placing strong emphasis on the teachings of Christ, the faculty, staff, students and parents strive to work together, in respect and concern, to establish a living Christian community. Cardinal Newman High School recognizes that the primary responsibility for the spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical and social development of the student belongs to the family; the school serves to facilitate and supplement the family in this vital task of the student's development.
